In the captivating realm of bio-materials, innovative sustainability takes center stage as we explore the fusion of nature and technology. These transformative experiments endeavor to repurpose materials inherent in people's lives, envisioning future replacements that redefine our very approach to design and consumption. From kombucha to make bio-leather, “feeding” mycelium to make living and building materials, or using Gelatine to make biodegradable plastic... For the first time, I realized that they were all living creatures, and that humans were symbiotic and co-working with them at that moment. These experiments pursue sustainability and shape an ecosystem from cradle to cradle, providing new perspectives on design and the human world.
