My project delves into memory and existence, culminating in an album entwining green onion roots and strands of my hair. This creation embodies memories, drawing parallels between human experiences and plant life.

Using my hair, a carrier of DNA and personal memories, alongside green onion roots nurtured in my apartment, this project merges natural and personal elements. The green onion roots, grown over weeks in a Trader Joe's box, symbolize life experiences, like my hair. Gelatin bioplastic encapsulates these intertwined memories, emphasizing growth and decay. This album is more than a collection; it's a narrative of shared experiences, a tactile representation of our interconnectedness with nature. It captures a collective memory for reflection, showcasing growth, memory, and the passage of time. My project blends creativity with a profound message about our interconnected lives, highlighting the intricate relationships that shape our existence.
