This project reimagines loose tea packaging with a focus on sustainability and connection to nature. Using bioplastics made from plant-based materials and natural fibers, I aimed to create packaging that is “part of the same story” by complementing tea’s agricultural origins while being fully compostable.

Through hands-on experimentation, I explored how material choices could enhance both functionality and environmental responsibility. The goal was to design a packaging system that serves as an alternative to traditional plastics by reducing transportation weight and emissions while naturally integrating into the cycle of use and disposal, reflecting the regenerative processes of the natural world. This project reflects my ongoing interest in creating thoughtful, sustainable designs that honor both material and tradition.
