The project is centered on constructing a biodegradable sundial that integrates elements of nature and sustainability. The sundial’s pointer comprises a tree branch, symbolizing the connection between human activities and nature. The base and dial plate are made from a blend of leaves and mycelium, which not only connects natural and man-made materials but also acts as a biological glue, binding these elements and underscoring their interdependence. This ecological installation adopts a cyclical life cycle, reflecting the natural processes of decay and regeneration with each season, enhancing the educational and environmental consciousness of the community.
